Oriental Dressing for Warm Winter Green Salad

This flavoursome dressing does wonders to simple green winter vegetables which we served with baked fish.  We used chopped leeks, finely chopped cavelo nero, broccoli florets, mange tout, and sliced courgettes.  We lightly poached the vegetables, drained them, then tossed with the dressing.

 

In a small bowl, mix together:

  • 1 ½ garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1cm cube piece fresh ginger, very finely chopped or grated
  • 2-3 TBS tamari sauce
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1 TBS olive oil
